Who they are

Teach For All is a global network of locally-led organizations and a global organization united by a commitment to developing collective leadership to ensure all children have the education, support, and opportunity to fulfil their potential.

The LACT Programme partnered with Teach For All to strengthen education systems across the Andean region through leadership, collaboration and locally driven solutions. Working with network partners in Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador, this collaboration supports both immediate improvements in classrooms and long-term transformation across the wider education ecosystem.

Through this partnership, we support the recruitment and development of young professionals who commit to teaching in marginalised communities, while also investing in their growth as leaders beyond the classroom. Together, we have contributed to building a network of educators, school leaders and changemakers who continue to influence education systems over time. We are proud of how this collaboration connects local impact with regional and global learning, strengthening both practice and policy across contexts.

What we are working on together

Supporting Enseña por Colombia, Enseña Ecuador, Enseña por Bolivia and the Teach For All global network

This initiative works across Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador to strengthen education systems by developing collective leadership and improving learning opportunities for children in underserved communities.

At its core, the programme recruits and supports young graduates from diverse backgrounds to teach for two years in marginalised schools, where they work directly with students while developing as leaders. Across the region, these educators are reaching thousands of children, strengthening not only academic outcomes but also socio-emotional skills, leadership and community engagement.

Beyond the classroom, the programme supports wider system change. Teachers receive ongoing training, mentoring and wellbeing support, while partners use data and evidence to strengthen teaching practices and improve learning environments. The work also connects schools, communities and institutions, contributing to more collaborative and responsive education systems.

At the regional and global level, Teach For All’s global organisation provides strategic support to its partners through shared learning, leadership development and collaboration. This includes coaching for organisational leaders, opportunities for cross-country exchange and access to tools and knowledge that strengthen programme delivery, sustainability and long-term impact.
Together, these efforts contribute to a growing ecosystem of leaders working to transform education from within, ensuring that change is both locally rooted and globally informed.
